NDIS is a government scheme that funds providers like us to support eligible people with intellectual, physical, sensory, cognitive, and psychosocial disability. The scheme provides direct support to individuals with disabilities, as well as their carers and families, giving them a greater degree of choice about the way they wish to lead their lives and the types of services and care they receive. The program is jointly funded and governed by the state and the federal government.
We pride ourselves as being compassionate and caring. That is where we get our motivation for the high standard of service we provide.
We are confident in saying that our collective experience in this field will get you the best outcome possible.
We are a NDIS approved provider that specializes in delivering support to people with disability, enabling them to receive the best care possible.
We understand that disabilities don’t define a person. Keeping this in mind, our staff help create an individually tailored plan-of-support to empower our clients and their ability to be part of the community. In other words, the care and services accessed through the NDIS are designed to suit our client’s individual needs and goals.
The NDIS supports people with a permanent and significant disability that affects their ability to take part in everyday activities. We will work with you to identify supports you need to live your life. Supports may help you achieve goals in many aspects of your life, including independence, involvement in your community, education, employment and health and wellbeing.
RIAP is the process by which carers and care recipients are allocated to service providers, such as Riverlink. Allocations to service providers occur in the last three months of the financial year previous to the time service is provided. The lines open in January and close in March, however you can leave a message at any point during the year.
Our person-centred services and activities are developed as we listen to Participants and Carers and plan a varied range of services that respond to their individual needs. Our activitites offer a safe and supportive environment for people with disability to have fun and socialise, fiving the family members an opportunity for time out from their caring role.
